I’ve just tried out Arc several days ago. It is suuuuper anti-distractive and simplified. ✨✨✨
However, there’s an issue with sharing screen during Google Meet. The “share this screen instead” bar won’t show up on Arc”; normally, it appears below the bookmark bar on ggl. So I have to turn off screen sharing and share again if I want to switch tabs during my meeting. I hope the developer will fix this soon :< and some functions on macOS are not available on windows though—
Anw, awesome Arc review! I hope to see more blogs from such an app-holic lol
oh that's strange, because I just click on the Sharing button and there would be an option for me to choose to share another things (I use Vietnamese so it's gonna be Trình bày nội dung khác).
But I'm using it on MacOS, so it might be the problem you said about being on MacOS but not on Windows.
Thank Tue for sharing, I just checked my settings and apparently there wasn't any similar problem. Maybe it's what Nguy said above or you can try update to the new version.
My other issue with Arc after the update is that the live calendar doesn't seem to work anymore though 🥲
what I love about using Arc is peek and split view.
it's so convenient to do works with split view, back when I used Chrome I usually had to pick the tab I need outside of the browser, then adjust the size of those 2 windows, and have to do it all over again when the job was done.
Arc has 1 similar thing with Discord, and that's the reason why I love using Discord over any other software out there: multi-layer structure. Chrome
did have multi-layer folders for bookmark, but it's easy to miss, while with Arc you can actually work with bookmark tabs, which you call pinned in your post. And Arc's space function is the thing that won over my heart.
Totally agree with your comment and thank you for sharing!!
You point out exactly what I like about Arc while working with bookmark tabs, I just wasn't able to call that out haha but it's been super convenient using this feature without opening and closing out the tabs all over again.
🫶 i will try it chị ơi
